Yes, its yet another of those things which are already there in tons ... another review on another blog - by another engineer - who again - hardly does anything in his life which had any relation with his engineering studies !!!
Yes, another 3-Idiot review, on personal blog by this Instrumentation Engineer from quite-a(n)-(Un)parallel college like ICE.
Well... title says it all. It had 3 stars... and then a few. :)
So - coming to the point - first of all Happy New Year to everyone and Very Happy New Year to chosen few who will bless this post with their eyes.
Waking up from a sleep which was 'late night' in one year and at the same time 'early morning' in another was a tough task. Once awake its a 'New Year's first day' and as myth goes you do as much good things as possible so that you can do the same thruough out the year. So obviously - first thing that came in mind was a movie. Even though 3-Idiot will be available on You Tube in next 4 mths legally - considering hype around movie I (mean half of me and by better-(better)-half) finalized on it.
Well ... so after ... n ... n ... we reach the movie hall. I am in 2nd row - watching 5 storey screen from its base. Its quite nice to feel feeling of screen falling on you.
And then (ok - after trailers of Veer n crap YSF movie) a DCH-isque starting makes me feel ... anyways. So here is our friends who are trying to reach one Rancho Chanchad (i m no good with names). And after that .. you have already watched movie so no need to explain further.
So - then what I have to say abt it -
After Munna-Circuit movies, I had quite high expectations from Raju Hirani. (Well I saw movie for him - and not Aamir). I haven't read 5.someone so can't say how much of it was adopted in movie (though end credits say so), but it was a bio-chemical-failure-in-intenstinal-cavities-of-my-organic-body - 'Apachan' - 'hard to digest'.
An FE student who makes a BE project [or atleast project which doesn't seem much like FE project] work, one who drinks from almost first day in college (ok - I agree its been 7 yrs since I left college), and finally that innovative vacuum cleaner - bit more far fetched than I can digest.Another part was suisides and attempts - also seemed too much. Well - such things do happen sometimes, but in movie it somehow glorifies beyond need.
Engineering atleast when I did was pressure + pleasure. You have pressure everyday everywhere - be it a photographer or a scientist or a doctor - and important thing is to know what you like, and how much you can handle. And for parents - to know how much you can decide for your kid.
Good points - hmm... good real reason to join engineering :), nice joikes 'in person' which we have read 10-100 times thru forwards, and things which bring back memories of college time. Aamir's spoon experiment resembled gyeser in hostel to quite an extent.
I guess I will leave it here only for now - and update it later - its just 1st day - exams are not yet close, PLs are there to do things - so for now - let hair down and enjoy!!!

After a long gap!!!
It's been almost 6 months from my last post on the blog. In the mean time, lots of things happened - and life has quite changed. Now I have my own DSLR and it has opened up a new world.
Coming soon ... something new ...

Old Trafford
Windsor Castle
Its called official residence of Queen of England - oldest 'live' residential castle in the world. When you see it, you get mesmerized by its beauty and finish. Though many Marathi Forts (Gad aani Kille) are much stronger (thats what I feel) than this castle, brits had money to spend to make it beautiful (and they charge hefty £15 as entry fee now as well).
You appreciate grandeur and elegance in this castle - as well as see many 'acquired' (read between lines as 'looted') things like Tipu sultan's collection of swords, his golden tiger any many such things from all over the world.
The famous Big Ben - upclose
Welcome to London
Its been ages I have posted anything on the blog. [:)]. A lot has changed from my last post ... I am out of US ... been to India and now in London, UK.
As soon as I landed here, I got a chance to see the most beautiful thing in London - the Tower Bridge. Here is a small glimpse of that. And yes, it still opens and closes - like the way it was designed when built in 1894. Like me, many people wrongly call it London Bridge - which in fact is next bridge upstream and is without any 'towers' and is not a suspension bridge at all!!!
